Autism Assessment
Clear, compassionate autism assessments tailored to you.
At Calder Psychology, we provide comprehensive autism assessments for children, adolescents, and adults, including both child autism assessment and adult autism assessment services, designed to give you clear answers and practical next steps.
Our experienced psychologists use evidence-based approaches to better understand how you or your child communicates, interacts, and experiences the world. From the first appointment, we prioritise creating a calm, supportive, and respectful environment where individuals and families feel listened to and understood throughout the assessment journey.

Our autism assessments involve several structured steps, including a detailed clinical interview, standardised assessment tools, and observations to build a full and balanced picture of strengths and challenges. Where appropriate, we may also gather information from parents, carers, or other professionals to ensure our understanding is as accurate and well-rounded as possible.

Once the assessment is complete, we provide a comprehensive report that clearly outlines the findings, along with thoughtful and practical recommendations to support daily life at home, school, or work.
