LEGO Club: Helping Kids Connect - One Brick at a Time
Welcome to LEGO Club – where learning and friendship come together, brick by brick! LEGO Club is a fun, structured, and nurturing program designed to support children who may find social interaction, emotional regulation, communication, or decision-making a little more challenging. In a calm and supportive space, children engage in guided LEGO-based play that gently encourages connection, teamwork, and creativity. Through building together, they learn important social skills like turn-taking, flexible thinking, cooperation, and problem-solving—all while having fun and making new friends outside of the school environment. LEGO Club is especially helpful for autistic children or those who experience social anxiety, behavioural challenges, or developmental differences. But more than just learning new skills, it’s about helping your child feel included, valued, and confident. Many children who have previously felt left out or overwhelmed in group settings find this to be a safe and positive space where they can truly thrive. Why LEGO? LEGO-based play is a powerful tool for developing both verbal and non-verbal communication, staying focused on shared tasks, learning to take turns, and solving problems as a team. It’s play with purpose — fun, meaningful, and full of opportunities for growth. We’d love to welcome your child to LEGO Club, where every child has a place, a voice, and the chance to shine. Rel8table 4 Couples: Relationship Reset
If you and your partner are finding it hard to communicate, feeling stuck in old cycles, or just want to strengthen your connection, our new group program may be just what you need. It’s called Rel8table 4 Couples — a six-week, skills-based group designed to help couples improve communication, manage conflict, and deepen their connection. What makes this group unique is how we bring together three evidence-based approaches: 1. The Gottman Method — practical tools to reduce conflict, strengthen friendship, and build lasting connection. 2. Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills — to support emotional regulation and help partners navigate difficult conversations calmly. 3. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) skills — to improve assertive communication and challenge unhelpful thinking patterns that can fuel misunderstandings. 📅 Sessions run weekly for 1.5 hours, starting end of September, here at our South Perth clinic. Register your interest today! Whether you want to break free from old patterns or invest in building a stronger relationship, Rel8table 4 Couples is here to support you. 👉 Spots are limited, so register now via our website or contact Calder Psychology to secure your place.
