About the program

A Safer, Structured Approach to Trauma Recovery Counselling

Trauma can affect how you think, feel, relate and respond long after danger has passed. This program offers a gentle and practical pathway to understanding these responses while developing a greater sense of safety, choice, confidence and connection.

What makes this trauma group different?

Sessions combine practical psychoeducation, nervous system regulation, emotional regulation, attachment-informed learning, self-compassion and therapeutic group support. You can take part without describing the details of your trauma, and you are always welcome to pass on any activity or discussion.

Common questions before joining

Do I have to talk about my trauma?

No. You will not be asked to describe or relive traumatic events, including experiences related to Complex PTSD. Participation is always by choice, and you may pass on any discussion or exercise

Can I attend while seeing an individual psychologist?

Yes. Many participants attend alongside individual therapy. Suitability can be discussed during the intake process.

Is the program suitable for Complex PTSD?

The program includes concepts commonly relevant to Complex PTSD and developmental trauma, including regulation, attachment, shame and boundaries.

What is included in the fee?

The fee includes each 90-minute group session, participant materials, structured exercises and weekly home practice.

How do I know whether the group is right for me?

Potential participants complete a brief intake or suitability discussion before enrolment so that the program can be matched to their needs and current stability.
